The technique on begins with a regular black manicure. Next, her nail artist applies magnetic nail polish in an iridescent pink shade on top. With two small magnets, she then manipulates the pink polish into the center of the nail resulting in a thin curved line.

'They're purple and orange and then they're blue and pink and then they're green...it's all an illusion!' Katy says. She has surely begun a new nail art trend or kick-started an old one with #tigerseyenail on social media.
