Get Rid Of Dark Neck With These Natural, Home Remedies
We all wish for a glowing and clear face but what about your neck? Do you forget paying attention to your neck when applying a face pack or going for a massage? We often forget to pamper our neck area which is why it usually looks darker as compared to our face colour. Just like our face, our neck also needs regular cleansing and moisturising. With time, dirt and dust start getting accumulated on our neck but when we don't cleanse it well, your neck starts to get darker.
Not just exposure to the pollutants or sunlight but other factors like using chemical cosmetics or skincare, diabetes, fungal infections can also contribute to your neck turning dark and dull.
Here are a few home remedies you should try to lighten the skin colour of your neck.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera works as a skin lightening agent. It has a flavonoid called Aloesin which prevents pigmentation of the skin. Using some aloe vera gel on your neck also hydrates it.
You just need to extract some gel from the aloe vera plant. Scrub it on your neck for a few minutes and then wash with water. You can do this everyday.
Baking Soda
Baking soda is one of the best remedies to lighten your dark neck. Baking soda is like an exfoliant and it helps in clearing the layer of dead skin on your neck. It also increases blood circulation in the skin. You just need to take some baking soda in a bowl and mix some water to make a smooth paste. Apply all over your neck and let it dry. As it dries, scrub using your finger and then rinse with water.
Potato Juice
Do you know potatoes have bleaching properties? It can lighten your dark patches and makes your skin brighter. Grate potato and using a blender to extract the juice. Apply it on your neck for 10 minutes and then wash with warm water.
Besan Or Gram Flour
Besan exfoliates your skin and helps you remove any dead layers accumulated on your skin. You should try gram flour scrubs to get rid of dead and dull skin. Besa helps in lightening your skin tone. You can prepare an ubtan using gram flour, water, and a pinch of turmeric.
In a bowl mix gram flour, water, and a pinch of turmeric. Apply this paste all over your neck till it dries. Wash off and moisturise. You can repeat it thrice a week.
